We offer a variety of programs in the healthcare field to help nurture your new career path, including practical nurse, dental laboratory technician, pharmacy technician, medical assisting, and EKG technician. Be ready to join the high-demand field of healthcare right out of high school.

Program Offers
- Dental Laboratory Technology - Upon completion of this program, the student will be knowledgeable in oral anatomy, complete denture prosthodontics, removable partial restorations, orthodontics/perdodontics, fixed restorations (crowns and bridges) and ceramics. (Students cannot complete in high school, though they can return after graduation by applying through the college process.)
- Electrocardiograph (EKG) Technology - Students will be taught how to perform a 12-lead EKG, properly maintain diagnostic equipment, recognize normal and abnormal sinus rhythms and monitor patients for cardiovascular disorders. An overview of anatomy and physiology, with emphasis on cardiac and vascular systems is taught along with medical terminology, basic patient care techniques, medical instrumentation, cardiac monitoring and testing and cardiac wellness and rehabilitation.
- Medical Assisting - This multi-skilled health professional is trained in clerical and medical office procedures, phlebotomy, EKG, X-Ray, basic patient care techniques and laboratory procedures. They are involved in direct patient care and assist the physician or other health professional during examinations.
- Pharmacy Technician - ATD -
Pharmacy Technicians generally work under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist and perform tasks related to receiving, dispensing, distribution, control, maintenance, compounding, manufacturing, packaging and labeling of pharmaceutical products.

Practical Nursing - The program prepares a person to participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in hospitals and extended care facilities. Students are introduced to the clinical area early in the program. Theory and clinical procedures are integrated to reinforce learning. A certificate is issued at the successful completion of the program in accordance with State guidelines. Graduates are entitled to take the NCLEX-PN licensure examination. The Florida State Board of Nursing will issue a license to those who pass the examination. (Students must meet additional criteria for admission and will be required to attend school during the entire summer between grades 11 and 12.)
